I'm stealing somebody else joke here; I used to beat Charles Babbage in Ye Olde London Tower Defense and then make out with Ada Lovelace while he cried though.

I don't get it.

I think if he was only here to shill his book he would be the dumbest man alive, since he would only be reaching an audience of about 50 people tops and even if every one of those people bought a copy, he could still make more money in one afternoon auctioning dogs. So I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I wrote a videogame history article and a Tennis For Two sim back in Issue 2. I'm equally interested in games for the early home computers as I am with games for the early consoles, which apparently is something of a rarity.

Kirkjerk wrote an Atari 2600 game.

I'm so old school I'm playing with a fucking hoop and a stick in the yard, man.

Then I'm going to pick some apple's from Grumpy Old Man Jimmeny's tree and whitewash a fence, so I can be home before ma's dinner. It's a roast tonight! We just got the gas connected up, and the wireless will probably be playing Bing Crosby's latest. It's gonna be swell!

Chee!
