By creating a new topic! I notice that this board has very little activity. This is a problem for me because I take a more passive approach to posting on the internet. In other words, I am a replier, not a creator. I think this has a lot to do with why the forums are so slow, coupled with the fact that the actual amount of regular users isn't that great, but I'm trying pretty hard to post some stuff. Stuff like that Witcher thread that I made is pretty rare for me, but I do like to keep people posted on things that I think are important, so I will try and drum up some activity here in the future. Please feel free to discuss the lack of activity here, how delicious Cheez-its are, or your favorite drink. All other chat is prohibited in this thread. _________________

I really enjoy Sanitarium's "Skippy" Corn Flakes. They're so much better than Kelloggs. This is a real problem because Kelloggs are everywhere and no fucking store stocks my delicious Skippyflakes. Ergo yesterday I purchased three large boxes because I had to buy them before they mysteriously vanished into the ether, or whatever. _________________

Guys, I don't know what to do to generate more activity. We're kind of at a high for the amount of activity we get here. We do have highs and lows, but this is about average... except Dess is normally more active here. _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”

I like TGQ being rather slow. It's the forum I can always read no matter what's going on in my life! _________________

Yeah, I kind of agree with Swimmy, in the sense that I like that TGQ moves slowly. This is not to say that I'm against people posting; I just think that if you want more content, the first and only step is to generate it yourself. If it's your problem, address it personally. |

I like how it's boring and any attempt at galvanizing or mobilizing the readership into any form of affirmative action falls completely flat! Seriously, it used to frustrate me but now it's almost comforting that nothing ever changes! |

Maniac Mansion! In the back! Next month I write about Marathon! Make sure to write me fainmail and send it to the editor, so I get more work. Also, the magazine in general is the best its been for a long time.
Also, I enjoy the pace of this forum. Selectbutton and all that is exhausting when trying to read all the posts, especially when 80% of them are crap. Got nothing on neogaf, though. _________________

Well, is it harder to start a thread with new exciting content or to start a thread saying that people should post more because the board moves too slowly for you? If it's the former, what does that mean?
Oh man I cannot wait for this work day to be over. |

It is the former, and that means that I am lazy/out of news. _________________

It's more of the fact that I like to comment on peoples opinions rather than present my own, is what I'm saying. _________________
