Me - I totally earned it too. 5 and half years man. But don't worry, you all can have some of the pie too. You just have to be willing to bid on that $50K ebay auction I will be posting as soon as the rigor mortis sets in.
lovingly yours,

I got a horrible chill imagining things like this being the next YTMND. The internet is already without redemption as is...
That background music is some haunting film score out of my childhood--anyone know what movie it was from? |

That was bugging the crap out of me this morning when Wes was playing it. Either someone is dying in this scene or lovers are embracing. It's got that feel to it.

I believe the score is from Dragonheart. Randy Edelman composed it. I think it's called Draco on the soundtrack.
I am thinking Dragon: The Bruce Lee story featured it prominenty, too.
I'm sure it's been used in a ton of other movies, ads, and trailers. Everyone seems to have a familiarity with it. |

At some places on the internet it seems to have become acceptable to post links to some YTMND page, as news, instead of posting a link to the related news story. It's like "give me my news in a tiny summary a few words at a time with a funny song in the background". AARGH. |

That's totally it! I wasn't kidding when I said I hadn't heard that in ages; it's been a good nine years or so.
Thanks! |
