Okay, so fuck that dhex guy and his squirrels. Here in Norfolk, we do things leporidae style!
Now that I have a digital camera, chronicling lagomorph proliferation is within my means, and no further delay can or should be tolerated. It's a cheap device, and you get what you pay for, but they're diseased critters anyway. I doubt they'll be offended. And what better way to book-end mass warfare than with images of fearful innocence?
Stepping straight out of my dormitory, there's no way you can't make eye contact with a bunny or two.
The rascals have burrowed their way under the foundations of the campus library. Possibly in a bid to feast on the well aged books (and knowledge within) once they're done with all the green.
These carrion-in-waiting loiter outside the small music school on the fringe of the campus centre, on the way to the shop and pub.
These ones can be spotted right past the building.
Can you spot the rabbits?
Spoilers: No rabbits.
I did try to take photos of the ones directly outside my kitchen window, but there's only so much this camera can do. In essence, warrens aren't uncommon, and make for handy foot-traps when you need to wake up on your way back home once the sun is well set and the moon is well out of sight. _________________ "This is the most fun I've ever had without being drenched in the blood of my enemies!" |

At first I thought you were referencing Bunnies and Burrows.
(And yes, there was a parody game called Bunnies and Burroughs.) |

So, I really like Watership Down and I'm trying to decide whether I should see the animated film. I sometimes avoid films based on books that I like because I don't want to risk having my imagined characters permanently replaced by those in the film.

See the film, you get to hear a seagull tell someone to 'piss off'. It's very bloody, too.
Stafford University is also overrun with bunnies. Funny that. |

holy crap thats adorable
rabbits are pretty amazing. there used to be a bunch of belgian hares near a theatre that ran around and would ignore people completeley and they ran like dogs
but when they built the yahoo building i think it scared all the rabbits away
DID YOU KNOW that when a warren is overcrowded and a female rabbit is pregnant, she can absorb the rabbits into herself so they wont cause crowding |

Get yourself a couple of decent coyotes and your rabbit problem is good as gone. |

Rabbits make lousy housepets!
Respect up for anyone who gets that reference. Anyhow...

The various rabbit facts discussed in this thread are covered in Watership Down. But it's not only educational--it's also a very good story. I recommend it to anyone who has not read it.

Not yet, but I borrowed it (on VHS) and plan to see it. I just rarely watch movies and it typically takes me months to get around to seeing even those few that interest me.
