I recall you posting links to documentaries or material relating to it, but not the film itself. I could be wrong in this, of course.

Well, it really shows off their Manichean mindset, which, really, shouldn't be surprising at this point. And compared to the Economist obit, which I just finished, it's pretty shitty as a piece of "journalism".

Home

Gerald, on the final day of his convalescence after a devastating car accident, decides to give up on the outside world and, using a video diary, see how long he can last as a hermit, locked in his home, surviving on what foodstuffs are available.

Hour-long adaptation of the J.G. Ballard short The Enormous Space. Should appeal to fans of House of Leaves.

Not hilarious or google.

Just Chomskyesque documentary stuff.

As pointed out by one of the commenters, the Militainment documentary is itself Militainment for intellectuals.

So, ironic but not hilarious.

GPS Gang Bang

Reminds me of a comedy routine about talking interactive dolls set to trigger each other.

Which in turn reminded me of the old Steven Wright routine about the humidifier/dehumidifier deathmatch.

For anyone who remembers the thisisnotporn.com puzzle phenomenon, creator Kris Boruff has created a short documentary explaining why it's at an end, the effect it's had on his life and generally how it all came to be. So no, it was never finished. And it's at a new domain now anyway: stoveinafield.com.

Speaking of, I think it's time for LUMPENPROLETARIAT ABUSE!

We hate Amerikkka. All world progressive hate Amerikkka. To hate Amerikkka we must hate Amerikkkans. Because Amerikkka is made possible by the existence of Amerikkkans, it is the proper outlook on life to hate Amerikkkans.

Death to Amerikkka!

The criminal US imperialist Amerikkkans in pursuing their mad dream of world conquest to establish fascist rule over the entire world illegally invaded France on June 6th 1944, without even a resolution from the United Nations. This war crime against humanity remains unpunished to this day. One more reason why hating Amerikkka is a good thing.

There are so many reasons to hate Amerikkka.

Those were just a few.

The Horrors' Sheena is a Parasite Don't care for the garage trash music and the ever-so shitty British singers, but the video itself is amazing. Chris Cunningham breaks his sever year hiatus on music videos here and for all minute and a half of it, it's great.

Also, Malice in Wonderland.

6th of June 1944, chaps.

I bring you Britain at War: In Colour, a quality documentary. It doesn't focus exclusively on Britain, do not fret, but the highlight to be sure is seeing it all in colour. The effect is quite different from watching antique black and white newsreels.

The Darkest Hour:
01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09

The Beginning of the End:
01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09

Do set time aside for them.

Reminds me of the FO3 art that has been released so far.

I wonder if a "capital dome shadow" will be one of the load screens or in one of the cutscenes.

I remember this. Trust me, the car version is funnier.

"Anyone that's not a complete retard leave the room now."

Downfall is a great film either way.

While we're on the Hitler matter: To be or Not to Be (Hitler Rap)

Mel Brooks one ups his own Springtime for Hitler. Pretty funny, FOR A JEW!

And screw it, if we're talking awesome warfare of the awesome last century and its awesome late century tunes, World in Conflict footage set to the classic Tears for Fears' tune Everybody Wants to Rule the World. An official trailer at that.

DVD quality version of Broken that Trent Reznor reputedly leaked last year to torrent sites.

While we're at it, the awkwardly tacky 1982 trailer for Videodrome.

Thundarr the Barbarian!

With modern special effects and grittier, more adult script, this would be great.

I'm just amazed that this ever existed: a post-apocalyptic children's show.

Yeah, I know there were others, but just... wow.

I loved this as a kid.

Kinda makes sense that it would exist, though, since it was contemporary with Heavy Metal and Gamma World.
