I "painstakingly" rippoed off the 3D view apps on Scion and Honda site:

(For today's kisrael.com entry on said cars)

I just love things that spin. It makes them so 3D.

Ugh, not to get into too much advocacy, but... in general I agree, Fit is probably a better car but I don't think it looks as good as the xA. Anyway, it wasn't around when I was getting a new car, and the xA is pretty decent.

That rotating silver one looks pretty nice. A friend of mine has a black one. She loves it except she can't keep her hub caps on! It could just be her driving, but it seems like every other week another one flies off while she's merging onto the interstate or something.

Wow, I had the same thing happen... but in my case it turned out the sales guy who put them on for me just didn't know what he was doing. There's an "easy" way of putting 'em on, and a "hard" way that both requires like one extra step (or something) and requires more physical force... in my case the sales guy used the easy way and I lost all but one of the caps in like a week or two.

Is she sure that hers were installed properly? I haven't had a problem since I went back, and got replacements, and they got a mechanic to do it rather than one of the sales guys.

Aw, thanks.

The meme-thing says I should become a better metric, which seems very wise in a cryptic guru-on-the-mountain/wino-in-the-alley kind of way.

It told me to apply for a new absurdism, keep my postmodernism clean, give up reading and spend less time on women.

These resolutions are unreasonable.

boy, if only I had the photoshop image slice and dice skills, layout tools, talent, and imagination, *I* could do stuff like that.

I was surprised at how the video added to the experience... I found the guy's site and started clicking around, and while it felt more "pure" to be seeing the gifs "proper", it was in general less engaging than that video. They say he made the music for it as well.

I do see a possible Gilliam influence, which isn't such a bad thing.

They should just pay Terry Gilliam to make stuff like this all year round rather than another of his shitty movies.

I've seen a number of these around before. I wonder why he doesn't have all of them on his site. I have some from the video that aren't on his site that I've found in random places, not knowing they were all by the same person.

b3ta seems really neat.

Where do people work up that kind of photoshop skill? Same thing w/ Worth1000; I dunno if I lack the right toolset, or just have no idea how to work up the ability...
