Sounds good. Want anything else off that list with it? Just Double Dragon is a bit stiff on your end. |

Sounds fair to me! It's not too late to interest me in a Saturn trade since my collection is just beginning there (especially if you have any Capcomesque 2D fighting games you don't need!). But if not some cash is just fine.
I totally blew through this game in a couple of days, but I don't know if I could bring myself to do most of the on-foot stages again. The game has a stage select after you finish it, but I'm pretty stubborn about doing Starfox games left-to-right after the first few in the series, you know? The stages they ripped from Starfox 64 are great though, especially since the difficulty picks up where that one left off, more or less.
But, enough life story. Paypal to jdelv001@student.ucr.edu and make sure I get your address somehow. Because... I might need it later. |

I'm bad at getting rid of games that I like, which means I'm bad at trading threads. I don't want to insult people by offering them the PSX version of "Sheep" for a game that they might have actually enjoyed.
dessgeega wrote: | parappa the rapper (bought used, but with poster and everything) |
dessgeega, would you be interested in some random PC adventure games? I'd probably be willing to part with Blade Runner or Syberia, for something as delicious as Parappa. Also, feel free to let me know if out of the selection below, there exists some combination that is enticing enough for Phoenix Wright.
Everyone else, I've got plenty of mediocre mid-90s PC games for all! Mediocre PC games are different from mediocre console games because they were still imbued with some serious conceptual weirdness. Like, "Virus: The Game" isn't, as far as I've been able to tell, very good, but you're still driving around your hard drive in a space ship with all your porn decorating the walls of your environment. That counts for something.
SO A LIST:
- Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy (I finished this one, if that counts for anything)
- Tony Tough and the Night of the Roasted Moths (this is stuck in a closet somewhere)
- Something terrible starring Tim Curry (also in a closet so I can't get a firmer title -- I think it's Frankenstein-based, come to think of it)
- Post Mortem (These discs have never seen the inside of a CD drive)
- Virus: The Game
- The Ultima Collection (I hate RPGs! Why did I buy this?)
- I've also got Ultima 9 someplace, I think; the 3D one that sucked.
- Speaking of 3D ones that sucked -- I've got the 3D King's Quest that sucked somewhere around here, too. 7? 8? The one with jumping puzzles. Yeah.
- P.Y.S.T. ($2 at Value Village, which is about what it's worth because you see everything it has to offer in 15 minutes)
- I've ended up with two copies of Oddworld somehow
- Dig Dug Deeper (I've barely played this, so I don't know if it's a disgrace to the name or not; dess?)
- Spycraft: The Great Game (from Activision Game Vault: Volume 2)
- I could probably part with my copy of Starship Titantic (PC/Mac, with big fat hintbook and audiobook on tape, no box) if someone offered me something juicy enough.
- Wing Commander Armada? I think this was another Value Village "This is a dollar! I need it!" purchase.
- I'd be happy to burn people a copy of the 7 CDs of Phantasmagoria, because they are a serious bitch to grab through filesharing.
- I've got the PC version of MDK2 here, but I think I'd rather give up the copy I have for the Dreamcast, since it's really meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard.
Most of these PC games are bargain-bin titles, no boxes, often not even any pretty jewel cases -- you know how bargain-bin titles come, in that stupid white sleeve inside a giant goddamn box. (I got rid of nearly all my PC game boxes a while ago, unfortunately -- couldn't justify the space they took up.) Most of these are early Windows-era products that might be a bit of a bear to get working correctly on modern systems. |

Anyone want to trade anything I'm offering (my list is on the first page) for a non-GH copy of FFVIII?
If nothing on my list interests you, I'll offer $10 USD or so.

I'm not sure my impressions of it can be trusted, because I played it in an era in which I thought Escape From Monkey Island was riotously funny.
I do remember it being good. I remember it missing a lot of the bullshit adventure games usually pull. It does say "The First Real-Time 3D Adventure" on the front, but that's marketing bullshit, not design bullshit. |

Alright, I'm sick of fighting with Nintendo's shoddily designed software and one-size-fits-all installer.
I've got my Nintendo USB Wi-Fi adaptor, the drivers CD, and even the cute little USB extension cord up for grabs. Looking for cool DS stuffs in return. |

I'll have to check to give you an exact list, but what I know for sure:
DS
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (JP)
Dig Dug: Digging Strike
GBA
Gunstar Super Heroes (but only if you REALLY want it)
Final Fantasy I & II
Final Fantasy IV
...but most of my collection is at work. I'll check on Tuesday if none of this stuff stands out to you. |

Things that I will trade (I'll be adding to this):
PS2
Champions of Norrath
Dark Cloud 2
Mad Maestro
Mojo
Rygar
GameCube
Billy Hatcher
Luigi's Mansion
Starfox Adventures
Atari
2600 and 7800--not sure whether any components are missing--and lots of games, but none of the super rare ones. I'll be more specific about this stuff if anyone shows interest.
Things that I'm looking for:
PS2
Fatal Frame
Fatal Frame 3
Ratchet and Clank 4
Sky Gunner
Sly Cooper
Sly Cooper 3
GC
Metroid Prime 2
Sonic Mega Collection
GBA
Klonoa (I actually bought this from Half.com about a year ago, but after some unpleasantness ended up without the game or my money.)
Edit: Removed some games that are spoken for.

I should mention that I loved the begining of DWVII and most other people who love the game say taht the begining is the worst part. I loved the zelda-ish atmosphere of the exploration and no combat. Zelda-ish is a bad compairison, but I am grasping at straws here. Anyways, it was the begining that held me over until when I finally stopped playing about 32 hours in, I kept hoping for the game to recapture the first 3 hours or so. I never got to the job system, but I was told most people get to it around 25 hours. _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”

Just a yarred one. I'd be happy to hook you up, depending on your moral fibre.
I don't think it's actually very good, but maybe that's just me. Certainly not worth the $40 you'd spend on the store linked from Underdogs. |

To those trading with me (and others who might want to learn this in a less expensive way):
Apparently, video games do not count as "media" for USPS media mail rates. I assumed that they did because pretty much every video game I have bought for years has been sent that way.
Apparently, they also open packages to see whether the items inside really qualify for media mail. I just had all of my trades returned, re-sealed. So there will be a slight delay.
Some article I found about this |

That's too bad. When I moved out of San Francisco in December I sent a huge box full of books and videogames to my destination as media mail, and it came through without a hitch. _________________ antitype.livejournal.com | last.fm |

That's too bad. When I moved out of San Francisco in December I sent a huge box full of books and videogames to my destination as media mail, and it came through without a hitch. |
Your books still haven't come in, though that's probably due to their weight or something.
I'm glad that someone is at least capable of enjoying DQVII, for I couldn't stomach that game for more then an hour. _________________

As of yesterday and part of this morning I have everything sent out as well. So to all of those who were already waiting for games from me: equip a pair of waiting pants. |

Likewise, I've still got Megaman NT 5 for the DS available for trade. I'm pretty much just looking for something interesting for the DS or GBA, I'm not too picky. |

If you'll trade for my Megaman, I'll take FF Tactics (PS) off your hands, Wes.
Oh, and B Coma, Super Princess Peach came, and it's incredible! Thanks a lot! |
