Desert Planet is a music group that I recently stumbled upon. Their work is heavily influenced by and makes use of C64 and NES-type synthesizers.
You can download a bunch of their songs on their site (including some from a side project, Screaming Timbermen):

I figure there might be someone else around here who likes this sort of stuff. I ordered their latest CD, but it's coming from far away so I guess I won't get it for a while. |
