Yeahhhhh ...... I'm gonna need you to come in on Saturday and Sunday and write lines about how you are sorry for making such a comment, even IF you were joking. That's just wrong.

I've been telling this to all my friends ... it's like Charles' Angels meets Mortal Kombat . . . but definitely more CA. And we all know what happened with Full Throttle ...

Yeahhh ......

It's just astounding how many bra-related scenes there are in the trailer alone. It's pretty pathetic.

Were no lessons learned from the Street Fighter movie? I'm guessing not...

There's no way this is a real movie. It's just...no! Incorrect!

It seems like they missed the point when they cast Kasumi.

Have you ever played any Dead or Alive games? Have you ever like, seen a screenshot of Kasumi? Or any Dead or Alive girl?

Or rather, th size of them.

But, yeah.

I mean. Not that it means anything one way or the other to me. Just strikes me as a little odd. Particularly because Kasumi seems to be the bustiest of the group in the game.

I don't think any of the the director's/producers/scriptwriters cared one OUNCE what the heck this movie was about. They thought Kung Fu with hot girls and that was enough. And isn't that one girl from Sin City?

To date, I still have no idea how on earth anyone can find Devon Aoki remotely attractive without disgusting levels of alcohol in their internal plumbing.

Or how anyone could call Sin City a good movie, for that matter.

sin city was a good movie.

now, while doa: spiceworld looks a bit too much for my tastes - and i am a connoisseur of ridiculous cinema - i don't understand why people are upset. it's a fighting game, for zog's sake. it's supposed to be completely stupid. that the film version of the game - which is already getting onto high weirdness, but that's another story for another day - is going to be even dumber should be, in one sense, a mark of quality.

Well, alright, it's not so much "bad" as it is "completely pointless", taking most of Miller's original stories and removing the interesting bits.

ahh, well...i'm not into comics and am mostly ignorant of the field (outside of the invisibiles, v for vendetta and the sandman series) so it's canonicality isn't an issue for me.

I appreciate awful films as well, but I guess I'll just need to see if the intent is quality or if it's to be outrageously bad. From the trailer it could go either way.

I don't know, I feel vaguely embarassed for the producers. Like from the trailer it appears that it doesn't take itself seriously enough to be bad-funny, but it isn't humorous enough to actually be good.

What was removed? It's a scene for scene adaptation of the original comics.

Few examples:
-Most of Dwight's backstory (Why he is wanted for murder and has a new face)
-Reasons why Marv calls his gun "Gladys" (Especially considering the fact that he apparently takes it off a cop in the movie)
-Reasons why Bob picks up Hartigan after they punch out and shoot each other (Too lazy to introduce another character, so they just recycled an old one and gave a flimsy excuse.)
-References to Marv's mother (For some reason they decided to cut her out)

Then there's the ending and the misuse of colours.

I always felt Sin City (the movie) was a "just adaptation". I'd never stoop to common denominators and adjectives such as "good" or "movie".

Fuck you all. The Anti-Wes is cool. Toups is regaining his lust for humanity, yay!!

What the hell was the link originally? Now it is a 404 error.

Most of those scenes were filmed, but not used in the movie because of "Hollywood." Miller originally wanted the DVD to feature the full scenes for the special edition, yet again we have "the man" keeping him down. So, once "the studios" think they can't milk the initial release of the DVD any further the special extended, individual story (aka not one movie, but a bunch of short movies), version will be released. Stupid me found this out after the purchase of the crappy release.
