Hey, other people do online video game magazines too!

Yep, while searching for Gamer's Quarter comments I found this topic:
http://forum.binaryculture.net/index.php/topic,687.0.html

Which led me to their front page:
http://www.binaryculture.net/

Where I found out that they do a web-based video game magazine.

Compare and contrast with TGQ! Neato!

The staff from this site was hanging out outside my hotel room door, in a patio, at E3 a few years ago. I didn't want to keep playing Guilty Gear X with my suite-mates (I was getting a little tired of gaming, you know) so I grabbed the six pack of Dos Equis I had purchased earlier that night and headed out to join the party. They were cool people. The conversation was a little too weed and "violent games are cool because they are violent" based for my taste, but then one of them started talking about ninjas and my interest was peaked.

After a few minutes discussing ninjistu's greatest moments in film and game, I said, "Hey, there is this great movie I found at Target for like $5 dollars that you have GOT to see!"

He immediately replied, "Is it Duel to the Death?"

and I stared at him a little blankly and said, "yes... yes it is."

"Someone told me to watch that," he says.

"Well... now I am, too."

Then conversation died down a bit, I finished my beers, and they went off to look for more weed.

THE POINT: everyone should watch this movie, see, it's called Duel to the Death. See, it's about a DUEL between a samurai and a Shaolin monk, TO THE DEATH, but then the Shogun sends in a ninja clan to fuck things up.

Two Thumbs Up!
