There's a new interview with Peter Moore up on Spong and it's surprisingly candid despite feeling a bit like an Xbox360 "buy me" plea. It's a lot of the same stuff that's already been said, but there's some interesting comments about Rare and some about how long the Xbox is going to be sticking around for.

One thing I'd like to hear more about is how Microsoft's movement away from smaller games like Voodoo Vince, Kung Fu Chaos, Oddworld, and Psychonauts and into supposedly bigger games like Mech Assault 2, Conker, Forza, and Jade Empire has really helped them to be more successful. With the possible exception of Forza, these bigger budgetted games don't seem to be doing proportionally better than many of their older "small" games were. Am I right, or am I just not seeing these things correctly?

Depends on which country. In Japan there is nothing to see.

Both MechAssault 2 and Jade Empire (the latter of which I would have if it wasn't for Pikmin 2 and Makai Kingdom taking up my time) are now half price most games regularly are in my area. I infer that they didn't do as well as was expected, but I don't have the numbers to back it up.
