It was fun watching you talk about the game industry on the 1up show. You're a star. And Jeremy Parish adores your game.

Phil Fish! You may know him because he's really cool to have around these forums when he shows up.

artist's statement: my throat was sore.

also, thanks.

i have to say, the 1-up guys and gals are pretty fucking legit.
they feel the love.
hardcore.

also, this past week was by far the best of my life.
any other week can just fuck right off.
and to top it all, i missed my flight and the only other one they could give me is in five days!

Always nice to see Jeff Green, but a lot of the crew just seemed too ... eehhh. The guy with the tilted hat made this expression towards the end, when he goes out on a limb and says how he found the indie stuff more interesting, which agreed with what pretty much everyone else said, that veered close enough to a 'I'll say it! I don't care!' attitude to make me cringe a little. Bravo, brave man. It reminded me of when I was in a history class in college and a girl decided to really put herself out there and declare her dislike for racism.

Fish's game was about on par until I saw the little thing float up in the mushroom beam, and that shit was fucking adorable. Nice music as well.

The Bionic Commando remake deal also looked great. I hadn't been paying much attention to it, only hearing about problems with Live Arcade's limitations, but I think I'll be picking it up.

And a small tear for PC gaming. Blizzard aside, thanks, Europe, for keeping it going. It's appreciated.

I thought I did! It was right before the IGF awards though, so you seemed a bit shaken up.

Holy shit fish, you're Phil Fish and you're making a game I have a raging boner for and you're posting on the same forum as me and I don't even know? I suck! Sad

P.S. I have a raging boner for Fez please make it as awesome as you can!

P.P.S. Congrats on the interview!

Phil Fish, I write for a major publication and would be happy to recieve PREVIEW and REVIEW copies of your game when they are ready!

Also I have an indie article coming up so I might ask if you're interested in a short interview around that time.

Just FYI!

Wait, fish is the guy developing Fez?

That's pretty great. Sorry I couldn't make it. Knowing what your game is makes your decision to leave your job a bit smarter in my mind.

hey, will the music in the levels of Fez have slightly different instrumentation or arrangement depending on which of the four angles you are viewing the level at?

(will not sue)

if you keep spinning the level for a solid minute, will it fall over or turn into a helicopter and fly away?
