Sort of. It's actually a bonus stage in WarioWare: Smooth Moves clearly inspired by Rhythm Tengoku.

I am literally pooing my pants with anticipation at this.

EDIT: Is it wrong that I find this hot?

That level made me want a Space Channel 5 Wii game really really badly.

Is it a rule that all not-quite-human humanoids in Wii games have to be really fucking scary? Between this and the miis who have legs just appear and disappear randomly I'm quite freightened.

God, this reminds me of Mind Game so much! I think it's the shape of the figues and the background colors.

OH GOD YES. Actually I think that a lot of Sega games could make a huge comeback on the Wii (Panzer Dragoon, NiGHTS, JSR:Grafiti, House of the Dead... many more).

Unfortunatly Sonic is not one of them.

You'd be shocked at just how good a job Rayman does the rail shooter sections. They're more like HotD than PD though.

I'd definitely say it is worth the price of admission. Although, that isn't saying it is perfect.... I have more than a few criticisms.

I can't drop $50 on another compilation game. I already have 5 Wii games (I bought Fire Emblem on the Gamecube, too. Although that was only $15).

I keep eyeing Trauma Center, too. And Red Steel. Damn you david! Oh and Dragonball.

I have Sports, Zelda, Tony Hawk, Madden, and Monkeyball. All of them are good games. The game I like least out of all of them is Zelda (go figure) but only because I never really enjoyed games like Zelda. My favorite thing to do in this new Zelda is ride around on my trusty steed Enis and kill things while going really fast.

I kind of wish there was a Boss Rush.

My favorite part is that bit at the end where they're fighting over the Wiimote in slow-motion.

EDIT:

Hey, there's another one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM_NLyEIkys&NR

Suffice to say my favorite is the one with the blowjob lips.

The minigames in Rayman are beyond superior to Monkeyball. I'm sure that the singleplayer makes monkey ball somewhat more worth it, but any interest I had in the game was snuffed after playing it.

Also, for the love of god, do not get Red Steel. I still don't feel right about it, or completly sane about getting it.

Trauma Center is good, but 2/3 times the game just works many times better on the DS.

Whoa, there's one where you push someone over?

Guys I hope the wii has the "pretend you're scaring someone who's holding a bag full of groceries" channel as mentioned on conan o'brien in the mid-nineties.

Monkeyball has some worthwhile games, I especially dig the lunar lander.

No one's really making it super exciting to have 4 wiimotes w/ nunchucks though.

I bought Rayman after hearing so many good things about it and... I'm really not digging it. I've found most of the games to be pretty boring, or the same game but just put in a different context. The best ones are the games that feel meaty, like the rail shooter part or the part where you fly around on a thingy, but for the most part they've been pretty damn boring. Even when my friend watches, she doesn't really seem interested at all (except when the rabbids do something funny) and we just go back to Wii Sports. Anyone want to trade this for Red Steel or something? We might have to wait for the freeloader, though.

Hot damn is this game good. The first few times i played it, I didn't realize you actually need to be following along with the whole dance (and not just the slap/point parts) because I was just doing that anyway.

I still have trouble doing the double slaps needed for Level 2, and I can't pass Level 3 yet, but I am loving every minute of this. Even if this is just a proof of concept, I cannot wait for the first full-fledged dancing/parapara game to come out for the Wii.

I can't wait for when Metroid Prime 3 comes out then.

You have to physically twist open hatches and doors in that one.

"Nintendo’s Wii is an amazing console that really gives us a platform to be creative and to re-think traditional game development."

versus

"The wii is a piece of shit!" and "Make a console that doesn't suck ass."

Its nice to see Nintendo go back to the arcades! Though I know they've kinda been coming back with those (from what I hear, horribly mediocre) Mario Kart Arcade titles. And who can forget F-Zero AX?

Given that aside from music games, but those with nontraditional controls seem to do well in the arcades, especially in Japan, I wonder how Donkey Kong Jungle Beat... while not being a music game per say, it did utilize the bongos... would have done.
