Is probably the best li'l collection of chiptunes I've ever heard. It's making me think math rock if math rock dudes played on NES sound chips and liked to shred way, way more often.
Get it here. _________________

I listened to this last night and it's really good. I was shocked that Dess didn't know about it yet, as I had just been putting it off a couple days.
I have exposed Dess! _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”

Yeah, I read your facebook entry about it and was instantly intrigued. I'll give it a listen very shortly. _________________ Like you thought you'd seen copter perverts before. They were nothing compared to this one. |

Yes! I had them downloaded before FX3 had even finished playing. Both are solid gold!
What other chiptunes artists would you folks recommend? |

Goto80. His Contech was my favorite chiptunes work until I heard this. People make cool videos of his music.
I don't really know much about chiptunes though. _________________

Nullsleep is a good guy, can't say I know his music though. _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”

Since FX3 is hosted on 8bitpeoples, you might as well just check out the rest of their releases and see if anything catches your interest. Oh, and check VORC every once in a while. |

chibi-tech does some pretty great european-chip-sounding NES stuff. lots of highspeed arpeggios and fakes vocals using different duty cycle settings. (if'n ya need an nsf player, NSFplug for winamp works very well. i think there's a standalone player on that same site, too)
man. i used to be so, so, SO into chiptunes and i've totally been out of the loop for a couple of years now! this has really rekindled my interest in all things chip. www.vorc.org is a good news repository for staying updated.

Ok, I don't know how this happen, but I forgot about Bitshifter. He's really good.
Also, I don't know if this counts, but Fuzzy Porcupine is very chip-tune-y _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”
