General forum = posting general topics

Anyway, Baron-Cohen has been beating the Borat dead horse since 1994 (according to Wikipedia), which means the "I Kiss You" dude is either ripping off Borat or it's all some sort of sinister ethnic stereotype in cunning "wrong part of the world" disguise, the Ali G dude is stirring a puddle of grease where the maggots (nee horse) used to be, everyone loves him for it, and I'm trapped in a nightmare world I didn't create once again. God damn it.

James, what are your other reasons for hating the guy again?

And I like...

Monty Python
Faulty Towers
The Office
BlackAdder
Red Dwarf
Little Britian

... how do I fare, taste-wise?

You fare without any Chris Morris comedies. But hey, Monty Python/

Monty Python and Fawlty Towers are fantastic. I have six Monty Python albums on my iPod.

No Chef? No Young Ones?
No Benny Hill?

So, how many renne-faires have you been to?

Some friends and I watched the first "series" (foolish brits) of Peep Show today.

I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time!

I also found the IT Crowd to be pretty funny, because the engineering school i go to has some pretty hilarious parallels.

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is also something quite, quite special - more for the utterly perfect and slightly nightmarish tone than the actual jokes (the actual jokes are pretty funny, though).

I used to work at a Medieval Times, so maybe that answers your question.

HINT: Not in a very, very long time.

You're missing a couple of my favourite british shows, but man, screw Little Britain, watch League of Gentlemen instead which is basically Little Britain but without a series of tired, unfunny catch phrases and it's actually funny.

It's a little grotesque, but that's why I like it. Here are some clips, but it doesn’t really do the show justice since each show (and season) tells a story/stories.
