Does anyone know (as in, you are in contact with) any short filmmakers? Has anyone here made a short film?

I have an idea of a way to showcase a short film that would probably get a lot of internet press, but I am not a filmmaker nor do I want to even try to be.

Pretty sure I don't want anybody to see it, though.

I've made several shorts in the past. I did this one with a friend one lazy and bored weekend in Long Island.

I'm working on a short film right now, and I know some other people that are too. I've made one in the past, but it was so poorly recieved that I contemplated never making another one (A crummy version is up on Google Video, somewhere).

I have made 3 short films. One won second place in a ring of High School competitions for Cook County (chicago and surrounding areas) in 1997. I haven't touched film since about 1999 though Sad

I should add I have an unfinished film I want to seriously get back to work on at some point next year, so I'm very interested in your idea.
