mc chris, Optimus Rhyme, and capitalSTEPS will be at El Corazon (109 Eastlake Ave. E, 98109). Tickets are $13 in advance or $15 at the doors, which open at 8pm. The show starts at nine.

For those unaware, mc chris and Optimus Rhyme are among the most well-known of nerdcore hip-hop artists. Some of you may remember "Fett's Vette" of Adult Swim fame.

As exciting as those guys are, I'm even more excited about capitalSTEPS. Check out his page for some of the very finest in Gameboy-style chiptunes.

I'm goin' with a buddy from out of town, but it'd be a lot more fun to go with a big group. Any takers?

dude, capitalSTEPS totally jacked his moniker from The Capitol Steps, of NPR political lampooning fame.
