I came home from a half-day of mostly-unproductiveness to find UMK3 ready for download on XBLA!

It's at times like these when I wish I had XBL.

My copy of fucking Shaolin Monks isn't coming until Monday, from half.com.

Anyone ever play Mortal Kombat Gold? I did, last night, after owning it for several years. More than anything, it made me want Shaolin Monks. And for Armageddon to come out for the Wii. And well, for the Wii itself to come out.

Finally, any MK Trilogy fans here?

I have it, though whether or not I'm a fan depends on which broken character I'm losing against at the time. :-/ That game is terrible in one-player mode (I don't know if I've ever beat it!), but it's still fun with two players, especially with one-button fatalities turned on!

I really want to play the new one that came out, even though I can honestly say that I don't like Mortal Kombat at all.

So, is the game playable in ridiculous HD-resolutions, and, if it is, does it look good? Also, what kind of acheivements does the game have?
