Well Japan loves it, so you'd probably hate it.
Right now I'm playing GRAW 2, which is pretty ace. Mechanically it's kinda the same as GRAW 1, but they do a bit more with the story. The problem is that the story is all about reinforcing good ol' southern America's fear of Mexicans on our boarders, so it's kind of bittersweet.

yeah, i just... the boxart threw me off. plus i don't really want to give tom clancy money. i don't want him deported or anything, but i don't want to help him buy more model airplanes either. _________________

I think they tackle South America because there's nowhere else to go. The previous R6, and the Splinter Cell, games were and are in Europe (East and West), the Mediterranean, and Africa - even a future U.S. GRAW 1 was about a united defense force, which isn't so much anti-country but anti-crazy generals. _________________ Come to me, Mordel. just two more days...two more days...
i want to play a game where you fight the un that's not made by the left behind people. maybe something with michael badnarik where you rip up your driver's license and fight the new world order. (final boss can turn into a lizard) _________________

I know I told you about GalCiv's galactic UN, but I have to say that it's particularly sweet when you're dominating, holding majority vote, and enact a heavy tax on anyone who starts a war (once you've stopped) and on trading partners with whom your people dislike. Mmmmmm, yeah, that pie chart looks good when three quarters of it is red. _________________ Come to me, Mordel. We shall depart. |

Quote: | Thomas: so, possibly a game with the looseness/character development of Deus Ex, the actual engine of Fear and reptoids
sorry, still riffing on NWO: the game
me: yeah
i would play that
shit i'd help design it
Thomas: Dear Valve,
me: NEEDS MORE SHOTGUNS
Thomas: the first level could be you in a militia compound as the black helicopters start to come
Sent at 2:24 PM on Wednesday
me: heh
i would love that
hell i shit my pants playing deus ex 1
with all the insane references
Thomas: you could have G. Gordon Libby posters inside the compound
me: fuck yeah
it's time cleetus, it's time
Thomas: check that, his "chicks with guns" calendar
me: and at the end the whole game turns out to be a dream you're having in a mental institution...but WAIT
twist
twist
the mental institution is a government faciliy you have to escape from
they're trying to make like, video game trained killers
using drugs and hypnosis
Thomas: then, you could have a stealth section in New York where you have to sneak into Ground Zero because underneath there is a secret Reptoid base
me: oh man
it would be the best game ever
and you get a girl sidekick but you never know whether to trust her or not
and if you shoot her, her head is made out of computer parts
Thomas: damn, I would so play this game
me: shit i'd fucking marry this game
"do you? (click y to continue)"
Thomas: we should show up at Valve's offices, all guerrila-style and convince them that this would be more worthwhile than Portal
me: oh shit
what a fantastic way to get arrested
Thomas: gibbering about a 5th-column reptoid FPS?
me: yes
also the actual end of the game is you back in the facility, strapped to a gurney, and just as they inject you the doctors turn into reptiles
TEH END
Z
screen goes black with teh words "the global elites have silenced another threat to their centuries-long supremacy"
visit www.davidicke.com for more information
Thomas: man, I bet that guy has actual large amounts of money
maybe
me: he says he doesn't
whcih is possible
but he makes more than most homeless people do
