Well, SD signals get stretched out if you're in a widescreen mode on an HDTV, but this can be corrected by changing the aspect ration to 4:3 (just adds some black borders). Even so, I noticed that SD signals do look worse on my grandparents' HDTV than on an SDTV. However, they don't look absolutely horrid; in fact, it wasn't particularly noticeable. |
