i was with the game up to MASH THE Z BUTTON TO RESIST BRAINWASHING (while the word "submit" flashes on a television screen).

the game really needs to have "up" be the press-against-the-wall button, and i need to be pressed against that wall as long as i hold the button. also, up + space should get me to an upper floor, as the natural inverse of down + space; instead it just results in the game staring dumbly at me while a guard turns around and spots me.

That's exactly what I thought, I even sent him an email:

I wrote:
Hi,

I like Tribly but I think it would benefit from a much simpler control system. My suggestion is as follows:

Cursor left / cursor right: Creep
Cursor down: Crouch
Cursor up: Use / examine / steal / enter door / wall flatten
Z: Use tazer
Z + up: Grolly up
Z + Down : Grolly down

See, now you've got one button for all the brolly functionality and the directional buttons control all the movement. Also I guess the 'status' button should be easier to find, since I didn't know there was one until I checked the readme.

James

Maybe if enough of us email him with the same suggestion. It would help if you didn't call the game 'Tribly' when you contact him, too.

Hmmm.
Visually it reminds me a lot of "Thrust" on the C=64

Yahtzee gets a taste of his own medicine.

Fat surprise: This guy's funnier and better at it.

Also it's mainly nitpicking. And it's overly long. And not funny. And it kind of looks like he put more effort into it than Yahtzee does into his videos. I approve of the intent behind it, though.

It was funny, but I'm sure I missed a lot because the guy couldn't enunciate his way out of a wet dictionary. Still, quite funny, a nice parody but at the end of the day I still love Yahtzee and his bile-filled reviews.

Hey Dracko, you were totally sourced on TIGSource! How does it feel? I bet those clowns at SB regret banning you now!

I got banned months back anyway.

And yeah, I saw. I replied. TIGSource is filled with idiots at the best of times.

Patrick, why so harsh, bro?

I don't get it, why get so worked up? They're just random dorks. Hey I'm criticising criticising criticizing criticizing criticism.

Dracko I looked through all your most recent SB posts and I couldn't see what it was that got you banned : (

2 Girls 1 Cup in General, under the thread title "Welcome to the new Goatse" (Since moved to the Axe). Patsy complained that I didn't put a NSFW tag, though I thought the title was indicative enough. Then I posted a Last Measure link. Patsy later asked why I hadn't been banned yet in the Axe, and Toups obliged.

TIGS works me up because they're indie twats talking bullshit. And I was mainly joking in that comment. I still think they're idiots who get amused my a British accent more so than recognise actual humour, but that's more or less prevalent among Americans, I tend to find. And the Brits are quick to indulge, because they're pretty much the equivalent of those little mechanical dog plushes that hobble a little then do a backflip and repeat until you shut them off.

I think every nationality has its Uncle Toms.

As for the Tigsource guys that's ok, you'll never have to meet them.

I incurred the wrath of Toups when I was sticking up for you in the Metal Gear Solid thread! Admittedly I was also saying that anyone who likes Metal Gear Solid basically has a deficiency in their brain and is objectively stupid. Later I realised this could have been interperated as trolling!

RECOGNITION AT LAST.

'Cause I really hated it? I quite seriously had to stop that thing prematurely -- it was a horrible buzzing noise, grating against my brain. Just awful.

Hm. Now I feel bad that I only have ten posts and two of them are me being a meanie about a harmless video.

Maybe I'm kind of an arsehole! Sad

I still think black face reviews would be the funniest thing ever.

Maybe you should give it another go. I don't know what you mean about the buzzing.
