I have a really terrible story about love. I may tell it one day. It is a hard story to tell though, so I just though I would bring it up to be prodded into telling it some other time.

Now is the time, my friend. Here I am exposing my soul to some people I barely know!

That settles it. I'm starting a relationship thread later today, after I wake up, ten hours or so from now. Yea, I really do sleep that long. I don't have a job, I can do it.

And, antitype, were you perchance thinking of The Idiot when you brought up Dostoyevskii?

I have to wake up in 5 hours, so I don't have time to tell it now. I will tell it tomorrow, in the new thread, in the general discussion forum.

I was mostly thinking of Notes from Underground, actually. It's the book that made me realize this about Dostoevsky.

I like Notes from the Underground, because it was Nietzschean before Nietzsche.

The Idiot, though, that's probably an ideal novel. It still puzzles me how Fyodor Mikhailovich could find a character as perfect as Knyaz Myshkin and make him believable. And that's not even speaking about the other characters, who are genius; there are no other words for them.
