yeah, it's from blaster!

poor blaster. it's hard to follow a game like robotron. watching robots scatter into brightly colored boxes is fantastic, though.

Totally.

The bonus levels where you have fly through the tube rescuing lost astronauts feel very much like the ones from Tempest 2000 to me.

It's kind of the entire internet in banner form.

ahhh. ahh. i always get that one confused with that sentinel: future magic (or something like that?) game. man such were the kicks of digging in the bargain bin well past the due date.

i remember sentinel being actually good - and based on the engine of something similar - though this should probably be posted in the dosbox thread.

I guess these are b-sides:

There seems to be a button that, if you've been thrown from your bike, serves no purpose other than to make you stand on the road with your arms at your sides, apparently seething with barely contained anger.

I liked how you could control the guy when he fell off the bike (atleast in the PSX version).

Yes, I actually ran to the finish line once.

I used to push pedestrians into the road so they'd be hit by cars. I thought it was more fun than the actual game.

This was done, by persons unknown, using the medium of CUPS IN A FENCE, at my local sports oval. Utter freaking genius.
I like to think that it was done by a bunch of footy jocks who, getting drunk after practice one night, unleashed their repressed inner gamers.
If this gets taken down I'm seriously going to put up some more. Maybe some 8-bit Link in the links - get it? Cos it's a link fence.

hitman 4

(my favorite is the last one which i took myself, because it was such a cool angle. really all i was doing was rotating the camera like i always did to see what kind of cinematic shiz i could make and, damn if 47's morbid placidness isn't just chilling in that picture)

Also, if HarveyJames is okay with it:

Finally, this one bugs me whenever I see it. Anyone know where it's from? The Banner Identifier doesn't have any suggestions.
