i am very excited; i got in last night and on the train from the airport ran into some young 3D animator kid from new orleans who was in town representing the dudes who administrate or whatever-it-is-you-do-with-open-source-projects OpenGL. Small world, etc.

unfortunately i left my laptop and cell phone charger and house keys in my locked apartment . So i need to find a cell phone charger before i can page out and meet up. but yay!

there's a lot of regional terms flying around these days - fanny packs, who knew? - etc so fibbie could have been a kind of biscuit, a term for the spare tire on the back of a jeep, a brand of bacon...etc.
