|
|
Direct quote from the Wikipedia article:
"There was an unreleased game in the series called Space Fantasy Zone that was to have been released on the NEC PC Engine around the year 1990 that was to have finally bridged the gap between the Fantasy Zone series and the Space Harrier series by having a gameplay similar to Space Harrier, but have the layouts of the stages to be directly based on their Fantasy Zone counterparts. Although the game was never released, a gameplay video of a prototype of the game has been found."
We ought to start a petition. This could be loads of fun as a downloadable Wii title. |

Oh, strange. I see writeups and screenshots of it everywhere; I assumed it was released and I had just never played it.
That video features an awesome mix of music.
Doesn't the PS2 remake have a perspective view like this? _________________ | Little bird fighting against a bat sect game | |

If only you folks read badmspaint, you would have already played this. But the link's dead now.
It's cute! I suck at Space Harrier. _________________

Oooh! I see that Shaper replied to that post! Do you (or anyone, really) still have a copy of this laying around somewhere? PM is fine if you feel a need to be discreet. |

If you guys are going to crusade for an unreleased Space Harrier-esque title, at least make sure it's Planet Harriers. |

Freow! That looks rad. Wonder if there's still a single cabinet playing it. Anywhere. ::sigh:: |

I've got a 7z file that's only 20 MB (though once extracted it gets up to 170) but googlepages hates hosting zip files. If anyone wants to host I can send it through AIM or whathaveyou. _________________

The Special Stage for the remixed version of Fantasy Zone on the Sega Classics Collection plays just like how a Space Fantasy Zone would!
Minus the fact that it's just a special stage with no enemies but rather bossest that vomit money. _________________

I made a torrent. I'm on a campus network so I can't do any router-configuring, but see if it works. _________________
