What does subscribing entail, anyway? And is there a color scheme with black as the dominant color? I passionately dislike this Orange Julius scheme.

Subscribing means each issue will be automatically sent out to you when it's released.

As for the color scheme: You can't change it, though it'd be neat to set up a system of a few different color schemes. Something to bring up in the technical forum.

I shall, in a moment.

I like the orange, it's. . .plucky. Although it burns my eyes.

The blue is nice. It's a particularly nice tint of blue especially when seen from my laptop!

EDIT:
It looks even nicer when the banner is the Twin Snakes image!

WYAH! Shocked

What happened to the beautiful orange colour?! I had grown to like it so very much, and actually thought it was the official site colours. Plus my Foxhound banner with the blue was made to contrast the orange. On the other hand, the megaman lego banner looks even better now.

So, a different colour every quarter?

Well actually it is to signify the colors for the Preview Issue. It goes back to my pretty orange choice on the 15th. Take in the traquil-ness of the aquamarine until then.

Just signed up. I like this idea of "community". I also like that it's not a huge community right now, meaning it's just possible I'll for once be able to chat with others about gaming and have fun. Most of the places I've been before used to just bring out the worst in me. I hope to be here for the long haul. Maybe even contribute reviews or something if anyone on the staff is interested. Though my specialty is in "Retro" games.

Peace Out all. Cool

I doubt it will ever be huge just due to the manner in which the magazine is released, but we will be around here on a regular basis always willing to partake in any conversation... we will stop flame wars though Wink

Well sometimes the best things, in this case a fanzine aren't thing that take off at Mach speed, but gradually build up to it. That shows substance over style not to mention class. I'd say that's what you're aiming for right? As for stopping Flame Wars I would hope you would. There's no sense in this place becoming like all of the other communities with 1,000 + members. Sadly I've partaken in that nonsense at other places, but have been looking for sometime for somewhere just getting off the ground and with a great group of people to have intelligent converstation with. I've got a few friends I'm going to let know about the place in the mean time. They usually stay away from online forums simply due to the mentioned Flame Wars and all the utter stupidity that usually haunts places.

That's all out of me for now.

PEACE OUT.

Yea, that is what we are pretty much aiming for.

Also I don't like flame wars. Counter discussion can happen with out flame wars. I hope I got Mods that will understand when one leads into the other and stop them. I hope I did not seem like I was saying you will start a flame war, as when I read that now I guess it could be taken as that. I was just saying conversation = go : flamewar = no go.

Cool. And no, I didn't misconsture what you said as an insinuation of me starting a flame war. I agree 100% with what you're aiming for.

sure...that's very reasonable.

at the same time, a flame war a year helps clean out the old gunk. reminds people of the good times and bad. like the rocky iii soundtrack.

I personally prefer the song "There's No Easy Way Out" from the ROCKY IV soundtrack myself. Makes me want to joy ride a super car and have flash backs to my youth.

Rocky IV has the....gayest music ever created ever ever. That's really the only way to describe it; it's gay.

actually, the guys from matmos - whom you should check out - are gay, and they soundtracked gay porn back in the day, so those gay porn soundtracks are at least in the running for the gayest music ever.
