T-REX I HAVE BEGUN TO DEPLOY NUMBERS AND SYMBOLS IN LIEU OF ACTUAL LETTERS IN ONLINE ENCOUNTERS

AS AN EXAMPLE BACKSLASH LETTER O FORWARDSLASH

INDICATES HOORAY

I've always liked Dino Quest I, too.

Can I mention Isometric? Cube draws a weird blend of games, action movies and philosophy. Also this. Those links are mostly picked at random.

You all need to read fucking Irritability. It really picks up around #100.

For the lazy bastards, just read this. Exploring his site is encouraged.

Well.

Mostly because the implication of using two words is that they are just the sum of their parts: games (as we traditionally know them), played on a video screen.

I'll argue to the day I die that videogames are not games in any traditional sense, even though they almost always share their trappings. Putting them as one word implies that they are a distinct entity from shit like yahtzee, which, despite roger ebert's protestations, is something I think we can at least claim at this juncture.

I actually do a webcomic which makes more than its fair share of video game jokes.

Sometimes I even update.
