I gave my business card to a voice actress yesterday; she dubs a huge amount of games, including Metal Gear Solid. I thought it would be interesting to do a inside-the-game-actors' studio with her and others.
We met at a party. _________________ www.call-to-adventure.com

A comedy party. You know, party with comedians. Typically, they're gross. But this one was okay.
Lots of parties this weekend. _________________ www.call-to-adventure.com

Sounds good. My girlfriend is excited to meet all the game people I've been talking about. She also hopes to test her strength at Street Fighter somethingorother. _________________ It's the saw of the table! |

Yeah, Andrew was schooled in the art of Street Fighter by me and my crew. He's a great guy. Maybe I'll sucker him into posting here!
Also, you (Persona) are humblingly good at Street Fighter. And I need to practice more against Third Strike Chun-Li.
Also: I know it sounds cheuvanistic, but the fact that Faithless was a girl who could hold her own against me at Street Fighter made me really surprised/happy.

How about Castle Park on Sunday? It's been a while since I was last there, but I can't imagine them having a nice selection of fighter games in addition to the DDRs. _________________ It's the saw of the table! |

Two sounds good to me (I'm probably going to take a nap before). We can find each other in the arcade before hitting the links. _________________ It's the saw of the table! |

I might be coming a little late because of church things. But hopefully no later than 3!
I will call and commit suicide if I am hideously insanely late!
EDIT:
You know, actually, I'm really behind on the comic and the next issue is coming up in a few amount of days. Is it alright if I take a raincheck on this meeting? ;___;
Mariel can't make it either as she's still working on the cover. Waaah. ;_______; _________________

Well my girlfriend and I are looking forward to it, so we'll be there at two, for anyone who's still willing to show up. We'll head to the links at three if nobody shows up. Faithless has my cell, too, I think, if things go furtherly wrong. _________________ It's the saw of the table! |

Heather, after reading your E3 article, I want to say that you are a sexy woman and that you paint an excellent depiction LA.
It needed more instances of shooting out and dodging drive-by shootings with gangs though. _________________

Persona doesn't have a problem with that though, he just blocks the bullets with his high frequency blade and then blows up the car with his mind. _________________

Come on, man. Everybody's been shot in LA before. It's only the first time that really hurts.
I mean, it's only the shotguns you have to really be afraid of. _________________

I need to be more vocal so that people know I exist at IC.
Also, does everyone here know I write for Play magazine now? I will continue my work at The Gamer's Quarter ... as long as you'll all have me.

Did I say congratulations? I know I meant to, but I may have forgotten.
Anyway, have fun in San Diego. If you're need an industry/nice-person connection, find Lillian at the Tokyopop booth and drop my name (or, more accurately, my girlfriend's name). _________________ It's the saw of the table! |

That's amazing! I've thought about trying to write for them seveal times before, but then I think that there's no reason because it's basically a one-man show and assume that they never hire anyone. Congrats and good luck!
Damn man, damn.

I didn't hang out with the Mega64 crew that much, but I did sign a few DVDs (the joke is that I did almost nothing for V2 and no one knows who I am), drew a caricature for someone, arm wrestled someone else, and nailed someone with a Comic Con DVD I threw into the air. They're really awesome guys though, and I wish I could've hung around longer. |

Yeah, I'm an "associate editor" now. Which means my picture goes in the issues ... but I need a different photo, because it's too professional-looking. Moreso than even Nick Des Barnes'. _________________ www.call-to-adventure.com
