If you want to know what TV videogame reviews looked like in the UK in the early 90's

The first game appears to star a wingless opa opa!

You guys al saw THE ZONE videos I posted, yeah? The crappy Australian show? Good times. A friend of mine showed me some game show in the UK hosted by three chicks, one american, the other two british (one of which looked like a slut). It was interesting to say the least. They didn't know their FPS games, though.

Also that first Game Boy game looks cool, I've never seen it before

That show was called 'BiTS'

The one who looked like a slut used to present the porn show on channel Five, so that'll be why. I remember they used to make a big deal about how they were all REAL GAMERS with seperate tastes and all this shit, but when they came to do the reviews they all just read different parts of the same review, from the same script. Which was written by a man.

I was curious about this so I started to watch it, but decided not to proceed beyond the director's introduction.

The Mouse and His Child. Gotta love when cute, rare children's movies wind up on the internet. It's got its odd moments but I liked it. Surreal is good.

Gabriel Range's Death of a President

And while I'm at it, a reminder that this is one of the best things you'll ever see: The War Game by Peter Watkins.

Moo by Cyriak - Warning: violence involving cartoonish cows. Gets much more epic than you'd expect by the end.

Also, Boot to the Head.

Man wourme don't even get me started on the Frantics!

I'll try and restrain myself to linking the origin story of Mr. Canoehead, Canada's greatest aluminum crimefighter.

(Okay, maybe I'll link Brown Car, too.)

Jamie Oliver tells the molly-coddled masses to fuck right off their high perch.

The words you're looking for are "pathetically sheltered".

I thought the Dutch Onion was a take off of the Onion and took it as a joke at first. "Joke getting weirder ... weirder ... weeeiirrddeerrrr." There is another video where he bleeds one, and this guy in the audience first has this expression of 'Ohhh, so that's how it's done' and quickly changes to 'Ohhhh, come on!' when the camera pans over. Hey, it's okay, guy, you can find things interesting.

Daph linked to a stream of this movie somewhere in her journal. I downloaded and watched with my girlfriend. It's really, amazingly bad. Also rad. But not radder than the intro, which is the funniest part.

For a very long time I have had an image that I run through my head when I see people in the baggy pants. I finally looked it up. Starts about 22 seconds in; only goes on for a bit then I don't care about the rest.
