But guy, the gameplay takes place over multiple gamecube and gameboy screens, you just need a regular video camera. And three friends. And another friend to hold the camera. And like 4 gameboy advances and link cables. Then you're set!

Dhex I don't suppose you have a japanese gamecube and four game boy advances and a video camera? You could get your book group round to play it, it would be a blast.

I've seen flu posts on other websites.

So I checked.

Better search

Maybe in a 10-20 years we'll have networks of nanoscanners/etc. and we can get near real time animated epidemological maps of this stuff going around.

My friend Eleanor is ill right now, I've made her a comic where her hero Columbo appears to bring her a cup of tea in bed. But his eye falls out in her drink :(

harveyjames, i'd totally do a let's play of tetra's trackers - i even have the requisite number of friends/game boys - if i had a way to play it.

i guess i'll be getting a wii and modding it eventually, though, now that the door's been opened for homebrew. so perhaps someday!

Honestly FreeDO works better than my actual 3DO, which insists on freezing up in the middle of playing video in most games.

If you like crazy terrible shit, you're in for a real treat.

I'm wanting to sell my original PSP. I have the original box, manuals, spider-man movie pack-in, headphones (somewhere), 32MB card, and little remote control for the headphones. The screen doesn't looked scratched, but considering a gust of wind puts prints all over the thing it is messy - I'll clean 'er up real nice like. If anyone is interested, fire a PM at me.

--

Yeah, I ended up getting a 3do off ebay with 15 games for $50 - the fz-10 top loader. It really does have some strange stuff on it. No freezes yet, but I got a pretty decent collection and have been enjoying it. Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo is awesome, as have been a handful of others, but dear lord Doom is awful. I have something like 3 how-to discs for various sports which just had to be three of the titles that came complete. Not like it wouldn't have been great for a complete Killing Time or Star Fighter instead, no no, learning to play tennis is more important.

Does anyone have a copy of Civilization Chronicles that they want to sell? GoGamer has a pretty good deal on it, but I have extra cash in my paypal account that I want to use first. Or I could trade for it. I'm mainly interested in trying out the second - I have IV and Beyond the Sword - and all the behind-the-scenes stuff.

EDIT: Nevermind! Can't find it!

Is there a place that sells the large Sega Saturn / Sega CD / PlayStation (early games) cases? I have a few that are cracked now and just got another game off ebay that is being shipped in bubble wrap (the bastard!) so that'll make the seventh or so game with a broken case. Usegames.com has them, but they are $2 per well worn case, which is a bit too much for used.

I tried tracking these down myself once. They're very overpriced to find bare, and in good shape. I only replaced a couple of cases due to prices. That's all I've got to say.

Yeah, they are very expensive to get in decent shape. UsedGames is out of Like New cases, but I read on digital press that they were something like $7 and another $1 if you wanted the foam insert. Guh. I bought a lot of Saturn sports games for $1 to get 3 out of the 5 decent cases; well, 4 decent if I can get the holographic EA sticker off. I've been buying a good bit of older PSX games as well, and those have come in with cases that need replacing too. Thank goodness for unwanted sports titles.

-

I'm also looking for a copy of Aliens vs Predator and Doom on the Jaguar.

Here are a few games I would like to get rid of. Trading is entirely preferable, but money could work too. I am particularly interested in games for the PS2, gamecube, nes, n64 and gameboy-ds. Please be interested in my games, even if you are not interested in them, I don't want to go to gamestop.

PS2

MK Shaolin Monks
Silpheed
Mobile Light Force 2
Gradius III & IV
Rumble Roses
Devil May Cry 3
Indigo Prophecy

gamecube

Viewtiful Joe 2
Mario Golf
1080
Beyond Good and Evil
Metal Arms

nes

Clash at Demonhead
Iron Sword
Empire Strikes Back
TMNT III

N64

Clay Fighter (lol)

I'm working on a care package since I know that the game isn't worth now what it was then. It will include many game related things that don't involve needing a US gaming machine. I've got some stuff in a pile, but I need a few more things that are still packed in boxes. It won't be long now.

There was according to the instruction book (Barcode Boy), but it's not included. I think one of the things in the box is an order form? I don't know. You get free barcodes, though!

SuperWes, I'm not really interested in those Ngage games anymore. Do you have any region free 360 or PS3 games you're looking to get rid of? What about Senke de Ronde or whatever it is, that was goign for $5 over there, right? I'd be happy with that or something similar if it's region free.

What you appear to have there is Monster Maker: Barcode Saga, which seems to be the second game to use the Barcode Boy (the first likely being Barcode Boy: Battle Space).

Strangely, the lack of actual barcode reader doesn't really seem to make me want it less. Surely, my twisted collector's cortex tells me, surely I'll find a Barcode Boy someday, and then I'll have TWO barcode-based numbers-going-up games that I can play but not read! And, says my reptilian nerdbrain, just imagine when that happens -- with my flashcart that is impossible to operate on modern computers, I could write BARCODE BOY HOMEBREW! Why, I need that game on my shelf just to remind me to never give up the search!

Woah, there are Game Boy emulators that actually support the Barcode Boy. Nintendo Power claims that Barcode Saga had a two-player battle mode. Also there are supposedly horse-racing and car racing games for it.

god please don't sell it to me it'll just sit on a shelf and taunt me

The problem is that I haven't even had a chance to try most of my terrible-looking weird shit, which I would want to do before I pawned it off on anyone else.

Like here is a list of some computer games that I currently own that I haven't yet touched:
Dogs Playing Poker
Return To Ringworld
Hell Cab (Mac)
Carmageddon
The War In Heaven
Sacrifice
Messiah
The Magic Death Virtual Murder 2 Multimedia Mysteries on CD-ROM
Microsoft Bob
Glover
Torrin's Passage
Critical Path
Quest For Glory Collection
Azrael's Tear
Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within
Lunicus (Mac)
Interstate '76

I mean COME ON I don't NEED any more games for at least another 3 years.

I considered trading you Dogs Playing Poker just now, but then decided that it would make an awesome Christmas gift for my brother.

Well if you see something that you want, tell me and I'll make a point of playing it and seeing if I want to get rid of it!

Let me think of some PC stuff I could actually trade:

I could give up Pong: The Next Level, which is actually awesome, but which I will never play again because I'll never pass the FUCKING CLOWN LEVEL FUCK YOU PONG

Uhh I played a little bit of Galapagos and am pretty uninterested in playing more!

Also The 11th Hour is total bullshit and anyone can have it.

Uhh I think I've listed Atomic Bomberman a couple of times and nobody has ever bitten on that. Also probably Driver.

Hey, I've got the original 3.5" disks for Eternam: Don Jonz' Virtual Adventure Vacation kicking around! I threw out the box though.

And if anyone wants any Amiga or Atari ST dragon-related RPGs on original disks (no boxes), I've got those by the bucketload, thanks to the questionable taste of the original owners of my systems.

Carmageddon got me into FEAR FACTORY.

ApM I have like ALL THOSE GAMES ALREADY. MOSTLY.

The 11th Hour is pretty bad huh, it's a shame because 7th Guest was pretty rad in an early multimedia game way.

I guess I'll take Pong if you really feel like losing it. I've always wanted to play that.

P.S Lunicus is rad.

my wife interviewed fear factory once; the lead singer or lead guitarist has a tattoo of the current 93 "looney runes" album cover. that's about the best thing i can say about them.

but enough about ripping on cycle, here's the deal: my final clean out repost, and then i'm putting it up on ebay in a giant single auction because i can't be fucking bothered to do it separately.

PC GAMES
area 51
blacksite: area 51
call of cthuhlu
condemned: criminal origins
deus ex - invisible war(t)
gears of war
hellgate: london
medal of honor: pacific assault
Neverwinter nights Platinum
painkiller (gold)
rainbow six: lockdown
