See that's the sort of thing that almost makes me want to shell out $10 a month.

I don't think a Second Life account costs any money to start and maintain, though, suffice to say I'm sure many of its players end up spending a lot on it anyway.

i mean, i'd never want to actually play these games, but like animal crossing, reading about how other people use them is incredibly fascinating. i've played a round or two of hl2 deathmatch with some ic folk, but that's about it as far as online gaming goes.

Low consequence socioeconomic engineering sounds like fun. I spent about two weeks, about 10 minutes six times a day on a friend's FFXI account cornering the butter market in Windia (Wyndia?) until I got bored with it.

for the record, i don't really have a problem with sex with the vending machine. so long as it be consensual, play ball.

but i have not. i would be curious to. the everquest widows thing had some instances of that, which sort of really flipped me for a bit cause then you get into that whole "what exactly counts as cheating?" thing. for some people the sex thing was more egregious than the not being around at all thing. weird, huh?

but like, cornering the butter market? that's a great story. that's worthy of study in some ways, in terms of behavior.

perhaps this makes me the guy watching the guy fucking the vending machine.
