My other passion is toys, and one of my favorite toys just got a major, world-changing upgrade.
As of spring '06, bubbles will become Zubbles.
How it happened, for those who are interested. If nothing else, skim the back end of the article for the possible non-toy applications. |

I'm mainly curious about the physical properties of this solution. Can it be blown long? Blown dodecahedral? Filled with smoke or small children? What will Sterling Johnson do with this? How about Fan Yang? What happens when you connect a red bubble and a blue one; do they bleed together?
Inquiring minds wanna know. |

I'm totally going to load some of this stuff into a bubble machine at my band's next show. _________________ where were you when nana komatsu got a wii? |

You know, this just makes the transparent opalescence of normal bubbles look even classier.
A cloud of red bubbles would be morbidly appealing though. _________________ | Little bird fighting against a bat sect game | |

Whoah. I'd love to see red bubbles make their way into the low-budget horror film special effects repertoire, along with rubber hands and firecrackers. |
