So I was at Joshin Electronic store in downtown Hamamatsu this last weekend and caught a glimpse of this neat little PS2 game. Seems like there is a Shinto Priest girl with a long staff, and a Wolf Like Warrior who go to war against countless monster demons. The screen is chock full of both good and baddies . . . basically you run through hundreds if not thousands of your own men to the front line of these battles and fight against the opposing army.

Sorta like Dynasty Warriors, but a lot closer quarters and there seems to be a lot more characters on the screen than ever before. Looks pretty cool! Like you're the hero that goes in and changes the tide of the battle . . . and the AI is impressives, on both your side and the other side. I wonder if they are using the "Massive" program from the LOTR to use that ... well, if you guys know about this game, please let me know ... if not I will do some searching of my own next time I'm in town.

You're probably talking about 99 Nights (N3) for the Xbox 360. But no, why would you care about a game for a non-Sony system... Smile

No, that's not it. The game I was looking for was more anime looking. The lead character was like a wolf warrior, and all the enemies were these monster looking things, really bug-like. And I'm sure it was for the PS2. Think Chaos Legion meets Animal Crossing??? Errr ... maybe that's not the best analogy ...
