is there any sort of composite cable splitter? the red, yellow and white cables that go into video, audio and...other audio, i mean. is there something i can plug them into which will split them into two sets of red, yellow and white cables which i can then plug into two different places simultaneously?
is that even possible? _________________

As far as I know for standard AV, all you would need is a Y-splitter for each, and then to plug into multiple locations, you might need to get get AV extension cables for each.-- I had a bunch of extra of these that came with my switcher for PS2/Xbox/GC. etc.
I say this as a half-asser when it comes to AV hookups. Maybe someone else can talk about signal loss, etc. who knows a little more than me. |

I'd imagine Psiga would know quite a deal about things like this.
Try shooting out a thread over in the Non-gaming forum over at IC! _________________

Basically, any cable that will fit in the plug will work. I've used old cables for RF switches to hook up composite video; I've hacked apart red/white audio cables into a composite video / mono audio for the Vic-20. It's all just electrical signals over a wire.
You shouldn't really have to worry too much about quality, unless you're a crazy audiophile and spend hundreds of dollars on solid gold cables or something. Just get some splitters, like friedchicken suggested. |
