I like this idea. We should sticky a topic just for that purpose.

Hell, it could be "Psycho Photo of the WEEK."
It would give the forum something to do~

I was watching a music video yesterday, and you know what I realised?

Shaper looks like the lead singer in the "Franz Ferdinand" band, Alexander Kapranos. At least, with regards to their latest music video. The "You're so lucky" one.

Here's a random image I googled:
http://www.virgin.net/music/wallpapers/images/franzferdinand_1024.jpg

Dude on the far left.

Ok, so that image doesn't convey it too well, but in the vid they look like twins. Seriously.

Has anyone else noticed this... Or is it just me?

EDIT:
Tried googline some more images, and upon closer inspection, my innitial thoughts remain exactly the same. Try flicking between such images in a firefox browser really quickly. Astounding.

Pretty neat huh?

For the record, I'm actually a fan of the band, or at least the music of their's that I've heard.

our dear editor-in-chief is a bit cleaner-looking. and a lot friendlier looking. not the sort of person to be associating with folks wearing "kill your pets" shirts! maybe that's just because of the photos of him holding babies?

That's a sign in the Arlington National Cemetary.

...

Yeah.

That's paper Metal Gear. He's small, but he looks nice. Thanks to Jiji for scanning the booklet.

It looks like you drew those in marker, or are the photos just that grainy?

Anyway, the Cave Story one is class for sure.

I wish I'd thought to start earlier. I had this whole idea for a complete pac-man diorama, but I didn't have the time or the pumpkins. I have this ingenious idea for making pac-man ghosts that I'll probably forget by next year.

permanant fabric ink printed through a silk screen.

it's a simple process, and the results are usually pretty okay. the ikaruga stencil only took half an hour or so to cut and a few seconds to print. i'm currently waiting on my friend to buy a blank tee so that i can use the sonic stencil i've got laying around.

it's fun. it also eliminates the need to spend $35 on t-shirts no one really likes anyway.

and like swimmy said, a homemade nerd is the only kind to be.

I saw this bootleg Yoshi's Island at Game Stop. I mean, it does not even have the ESRB rating on it. Who ever took this game in on trade should be fired. Sorry that it is hard to see.

Mmm yeah from those pictures that it was dude only but it wasn't mostly the dudes are gathered around the bar whilst the ladies wait for their drinks in the back.
Don't remember who gave me that smacker but I don't think my gf would have like it if I would have scored there with anybody else.
It's a studentbar run by students attached to a student club (eoos:eastern languages).
The prices are extremly cheap.

Christ, are those shoulders padded? Is it 1985? Are you an eight foot tall gorilla?

Otherwise nice pic, even if the smile creeps me out a little.

It was a preorder bonus. For preordering it. If you go sweet talk the EB guys, they should have a few, assuming no one preordered it but you.

"Hell, even if you don't want the game, preorder it, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS SEGA IN THE WORLD" <-- what I once said to an actuall human being

The game is good enough to play again. Not just because I haven't beaten it yet, but I want to play more. To get better.

indeed it is. i got to hang out with a pregnant lady and talk in a headset all night long.

plus seeing your work, no matter how crummy, on a 30 foot screen in the ballroom of the waldorf astoria is pretty fucking hot.

so, how do you do that melty face thing?

Insert head in scanner: press "scan."

The reverse face at the bottom is the result of me moving my face to the bottom part of the scanner faster than the scanner bar itself. I realize now that it's no new idea; but I saw this guy's picture of a garage taken with a scanner and it gave me an idea. And I think I truly got the idea from Chel White's Choreography for Copy Machine which I saw sometime in seventh grade. But I guess the Khronos Project beats all of that wussy regular temporal distortion hands-down.

Finally found my wedding pictures! At dhex's request in some staff thread I think.

Here's my entire family giving the thumbs-up.

Man, that was a good wedding. There was Katamari music during cocktails, too.

This is the building where we lived until about a year ago. Those are our vehicles in the front. That Jeep was stolen twice from that spot and recovered both times.
We eventually moved because they kicked everyone out and sold the whole area to people who wanted to build luxury condominiums.

We went back last Saturday and found that things have changed. This second picture is taken from the rear of the building, but you can see the ditch in both pictures.
