I hear it's unnaturally short and too much of the game's content must be purchased as online 'extras'. But I don't have a PS2, so this is my only oppotunity to get my Katamari on. Unless it's coming out for Wii, I guess!

I'm going to say, based off the Xbox demo, nah it's not worth it. Unless you can find it for really cheap.

I actually sold off my original Katamari recently here. Kind of a shame since it's probably still the best game in the series. Oh well, I still have the soundtrack on my computer, which was obviously the best part.

If you don't have a PS2 it might be worth it, but honestly you might be better off waiting until you somehow end up with one to play the first one. The first game was a series of levels progressively leading up to the inevitable finale, but this the Xbox 360 version seems to just be about playing stages. Not only that, but in the new version you're much more harshly judged by the king than you were in the first, making the game feel less about relaxing and more about competing.

The 360 version is decent if you just want to play more stages, but it seems to be treading the same territory as the original without the same set of motivations.

the 360 version isnt worth it becuase there is more game LOCKED ON TEH DISK THAT YOU HAVE TO BUY ON XBOX MARKETPLACE than readily available on the disk when you buy it
