I fulfiled another one of my childhood dreams today by getting a Neo Geo Pocket Color. Which games should I get.

Obviously I'll be getting the fighting games, but was there anything else worthwhile on this thing? I've heard good things about Faselei, because it was apparently made by the Shadow Hearts people. And I guess Metal Slug is good purchase

Oh man! Good buy! I looooooooooooooooove mine. The games I have are mainly the fighters, but Bust-A-Move is awesome on it - I think the best portable version - and I have another puzzle title, Puzzle Link, that isn't bad if you can get it cheap enough. Sonic is good on it as well.

As far as the fighting games go, you should put emphasis on picking up SamSho 2. It's unbelievably innovative and interesting for a fighting game on such a relatively limited handheld platform. Especially a game that is based on a much more complex and pretty console game. Somehow it absolutely never disappoints.

So what colorway is your new acquisition? I have the green camo and the clear, myself. And somewhere a have a plain vanilla NeoGeo Pocket (non-color).

I like the card game with all the really neat portraits of capcom characters.

All I'm doing is reinforcing your choices here, but the Metal Slug games and Faselei are a lot of fun. You shouldn't expect Faselei to be anything like Shadow Hearts, though.

man i remember when i worked at gamestop someone just unearthed a million of those things and were selling them for sixty dollars with three random games

i didnt pick one up then because i had one at home, but it got lost and now i really wish i got it urrghhh

so i have this copy of cardfighters clash and ill be willing to trade it or give it away or whatever!

do you have nintendo games

Sonic isn't perfect but it has some awfully neat Sonic 3 chiptunes. The same team went on to make Sonic Advance which is sort of a really bad remake.
