I did mean to post this, however.

I can't really tell much from the shakycam, except that these are very big sprites. And they seem well-drawn and well-animated. And old music!

Even better: all the sprites will match now! All drawn in the same style, with the correct relative proportions!

If Vanessa isn't in this game...

EDIT: Except I meant to post it in the other sub-form. :(

I'm no good at this.

So far I'm seeing:

Kyo
Ash
Benimaru
Kim
Terry (red jacket)
Athena

Is Iori going to be in this? I guess it would be dumb to miss an opportunity to redraw his sprite. Hidden character, maybe?

The sprites don't look that hi-res to me, but it's difficult to tell.

In that last frame, through the double imaging from the interlacing, you can make out the level of detail.

Taito Type-X2.

...

Presumably there will be home ports. Xbox 360 has gotta be in the equation somewhere.

I think that's what he's looking for. Though he doesn't keep 'em for long. He's just that kind of a guy.

Remi's kind of girly, too. I guess it stands to reason that the Japanese stereotype of the French is sort of a hyper giri-giri EX version of the American stereotype of the French.

Are you sure that's meant to be a dude? It has breasts.

That's just the jacket bunching up and billowing. I think.

He doesn't, normally. Though he did absorb the essence of Chizuru a while back.

That's remarkable similar to Dracko's OKCupid profile.

I'm surprised that the internet hasn't fetishized this yet.

Is the rise of androgyny in Japanese video game characters being done so that women can more easily cosplay as them?

Boy, I really dislike Ash. Or rather I really hate how Japan really likes the idea of any man being possible transvestite.
