Hey didn't nintendo start out as a playing card company? Is this the first time they've made playing cards since switching over to videogames?
are these nintendo playing cards that come with my gimmicky magical game a piece of GAMING HISTORY?
edit: did they make playing cards for the YAKUZA
AM I LOOKING INTO THINGS TOO MUCH?

The ace of spades from the traditional deck Nintendo used to make is awesome. It's just your regular black and white, ornate Ace of Spades, but in curved gothic script across the middle is the name 'NINTENDO'. it would make an amazing T-Shirt.
EDIT: You can see it on this video, if you skip ahead to 7:35. It's not exactly how I remembered it, but still cool.

Might be hard to source one to scan in, since the only known suriviving cards are now museum exhibits in Husajiro Yamauchi's tomb. |

This sentence is way better because Dessgeega doesn't use capitals. _________________ | Little bird fighting against a bat sect game | |

There are a lot of gay wizards going about (Dumbledore, Sir Ian McKellan, Siegfried and Roy, Hans Klok). |

I have no idea what this thread is for, but I wanted to take very seriously and comment on the following quote:

The answer is definately no, since when I was in Japan I went into a toy store and saw a deck of playing cards by Nintendo. They were see-through and they had Kirby on one side and the applicable card designs on the other. They were pretty neat, but cost too much for a deck of cards so I didn't get them.
Also I'm pretty sure they still make Hanafude (sp?) cards.

One time in a random dollar store I found a bunch of Nintendo playing cards, made by, I think, TOPPS. They were somewhat like lottery tickets, in that there was some kind of "game" and you had to scratch away little circles to reveal icons. There was a set of rule sets on the back that told you how many circles to reveal and what the icons meant, etc.
There were also Nintendo sticker cards, with Game Tips on the back. The "tips" weren't much more than "Mario can jump on enemies!" type stuff but the stickers made my binder Too Cool For School as a young'un. |

i used to pick those up from time to time!
the slut showed me some photos the other day of her old room in her mother's house, and there was a scratch-off card on top of some pile of junk. it was the first time i'd seen one in years. she told me she bought a bunch when she was in japan, as there were bunches of them over there. _________________
