I'd make one but I haven't contributed an article (so slack!) and I'm not like, staff or anything. So I'd feel weird. You know?

Anyway then we can all join it and find each other in-game and such. Sounds good to me!

Yes, yes, good idea Tim.

Yes.

Go for it! It will probably be a lonely little community, though. (Alternately, we could all just post our Steam names in this thread. )

Also Mr. Timwashed would you like to join the Select Button community? Love or hate the site, based on the people I've played with the Steam group is composed entirely of Righteous Dudes.

I like Righteous Dudes! I dunno, link me up I guess? I don't know anything positive or negative about Select Button but I have read a few good threads there. Italics italics italics.

I can understand not liking steam, but how does it make your eyes water (unless this is some sort of awful pun).

Pink, I just don't have time for your games. I'm too busy managing this community.

Haven't you ever just wanted to belong?

I belong to the Gamer's Quarter community. I can't belong to that community, and the Steam community. It's like a paradox or something.

I plan on picking up CS:S and DoD:S when I finish building my new PC.

DoD regular is fathoms better than Source in my personal opinion. Mainly because I don't want to buy Source.

I got CS:S free w/ HL2.

Otherwise I probably never would have picked it up.

Counterstrike goes perfectly with Yakety Sax, especially with speed jacked up.

The various HL2 mods are occaisionally good, too.

Method of Pythagoras had some neat things that reminded me of the "Adventures of Letterman" on Electric Company way back when.

I haven't checked for mods in a long time, time to check again.

Yeah, this is very possible. The problem is that almost no one plays the regular one. I've tried to pick it back up and most servers with people aren't "people" but bots. Sometimes on weekend nights and what not, there will be a server with about a dozen real people playing, but mostly not.

Well, the vent server I go to plays it from time to time, so my thirst for DoD is quenched from time to time.

All that aside though, I do love the original DoD. At time though, it can be pretty harsh. I've had days ruined after a bad game of DoD.
