|
|
- it will be more solid than episode 1 in terms of overall length and the friendly ai being a gang of tanks
- it will be slightly more open ended, which for this series will be a revelation and quite possibly a curse
- the new weapon will fail to be completely bonerriffic
- driving! lots of driving!
- the hunter will become the hunted
- it will not be available to play after 12:01 tonight because the steam servers will continue to get rocked
- portal; aka the little tech demo that could, will go on to be a model of diy candoittiveness or sticktoittiveness or whatever the term should be; as a game it will be kinda ehh like most indie stuff, but still, really neat idea. _________________

- Gordon Freeman lied on his resume to Black Mesa and did not actually graduate from MIT and instead went to a community college.
- The game now has third-person cutscenes with cool slowmo effects so that they can work that Dog vs. Mini-strider scene into the game. |

-Engineers and Medics become the surprise hit characters of Team Fortress 2
-Portal makes me laugh harder than most other games can, including my foul-mouthed Animal Crossing neighbors
-I lose hours of my life, hundreds of my dollars, and my console-induced ignorance of Half-Life 2 come November _________________ Like you thought you'd seen copter perverts before. They were nothing compared to this one. |

The developers laugh watching the "currently popular" characters of TF2 because they know how they're balanced, so they know how their popularity will progress as people find out the tricks. _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”

I just pray to Bethesda that Episode 2 is longer than Episode 1. I remember putting a frozen pizza in the oven before starting up Episode 1, only to have finished the damn game five minutes before my pizza was ready.
It's a good thing I got that game for free, or I would of been pretty angry. |

note: the theoretical physics department at MIT apparently does not find notes from fake alumnus gordon freeman funny; not only because they lack a sense of humor, but because they are too nerdy to have played half-life

Yay, Episode 2 is longer, and Portal is pretty fun.
I may need to wait until I get a better video card/psu before I finish Portal though. With how choppy it's running now, I doubt I'll be able to accurately complete puzzles that have you creating Portals mid flight. |
