Their cunning plan is hilarious in its simplicity.
Also, how did Dr. Doom manage to make a planet that dwarfed Earth? |

So I noticed that the title of this comic is Star Jaws... does it have anything to do with Star Trek, Star Wars, or Jaws?
I can sense some kind of internet meme brewing (then again I thought the same thing about Vulgar Scrabble, which I made to entertain myself at Starbucks about a week or two but my friend Albert insisted we make it into a YTMND... When I'm not at school with filtered internet I'll find the link, or I'll get the better pictures from another friend of mine) _________________

as dmauro pointed out, the way they emphasize words makes it even better. this is probably funnier than the Hostess cakes comics. |

Unfortunetly, I spend 89% of my week working 8 hours a day. After work, I spend another 89% of my week playing Gears of War until my hands cramp and I realize that if I go to bed right then I would be able to get 5 and a half hours of sleep before work tomorrow.
I spend my days off packing boxes for the move. Which is practically work anyway. _________________ Collector of over 1,538 strategy guides. That's weird, right?

Why didn't they just use a single nuclear device instead of 1000,000 tins of TNT? Since space travel is budgeted by the ton, this would have cut the costs of the mission by 1000,000 times.
Maybe Marvel Boy should think things through a bit harder before he asks that general for anything in the future. After all, he'll do anything he says, and that's a power which comes with great responsiblilty. That little TNT stunt probably just wiped out the entire United States aerospace budget for the next 50 years. |

A live-action segment coincided with that comic on The Electric Company.
One of the villians was a guy who crushed cans with a giant hammer, in search of his lost pet frog.

I've been a diehard Iron Man fan for years. I love to bore my friends to death as to why he's so much cooler than Bat Man. Same basic guy, except he enjoys being a rich dude, bangs hot chicks, then gets drunk and crashes through stuff.
Nuff said. |

I thought Iron Man: Extremis was pretty amazing stuff. I hear the Knauf brothers are writing the following arc. I'd suspect on their pedigree alone it would be good, but what do people here think?
That page is from Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's WE3, incidentally. Perhaps the most significant comic in recent memory. _________________ "This is the most fun I've ever had without being drenched in the blood of my enemies!" |

Well I just checked out both of those comics. Leisuretown comics seem to long for my tastes (90 pages, no thanks!), Jerk City I can see myself enjoying however. I love Jim Woodring, but I do not love seeing his artwork all pixilated and such though. |

Huh? LT was considered significant enough to merit attention from The Comics Journal. It's art and it works on many levels in terms of its aesthetics and writing. Or am I reading your message incorrectly?
I mean, sure, it's crass and flippant but it has serious things to say about serious issues (tm). The way Tristan exploded my (our?) personality into a variety of loathsome characters shows that he has a real understanding of the conflicted forces of our psychologies. |

I was simply joking. I have a lot of respect for it and it's a shame there are so many people who get put off by the (imaginative) swearing and crudity. _________________ "This is the most fun I've ever had without being drenched in the blood of my enemies!" |
