Issue #7 of our fine magazine is now available for download as a full-length PDF preview. Check it out by clicking here, and if you like what you read please visit our shop to purchase a hard copy. Hard copies are closer to a book than a magazine, and at $5 plus shipping each issue is an incredible value. Within the 107 pages of Issue #7 you'll find 22 articles covering various Mario games, the Final Fantasy series, Dead Rising, the Japan-only Bit Generations series of GBA games,a series of Haiku about Dragon Warrior VII, and much, much more! You'll also find gobs of original artwork, including a comic that takes a unique look at the modern videogame store and an absolutely insane cover by Indianapolis artist Max Martin! Regardless of what you think of the magazine we'd love to hear about it, so please click the comments button below and let us know. We don't always say it, but thank you everyone for your support.

This issue is an allstar! I started reading the first article and now I'm on like the sixth! It just keeps getting better! Great layouts, great writing, great everything. Crap, I'm going to have to step up my game if I want to keep contributing. |

My friend who works at Future Publishing in Bath took a look at the new issue.

good

Is there no way to pay without paypal now? Paypal refuses to accept my home phone number any way i try to write it (I'm in New Zealand) when i try to make an account.
I paid for the previous issues just by credit card. |

Paypal is preferred, but if you have an aversion to Paypal please send a check or money order made out to Wes Ehrlichman, along with your order details, where to send the book, and a valid e-mail address (to be used only in the case of questions pertaining to your order) to:
Wes Ehrlichman
The Gamer's Quarter
3828 McDonald Ave. #A
St. Louis, MO 63116
USA
Any other method is fine too. Just send me a PM and let me know what you have in mind.

I ended up getting around the phone number problem by inventing one, but it all seems to have worked. Cheers for the help anyway. |

I really enjoyed this issue, even more so than usual because I'm such a fan of the Mario series. I wish I had known that Mario was central to the issue because I have a piece I wrote in a literary criticism seminar about Mario's characterization across his various titles that I would have liked to contribute.
Speaking of which, how do contributions work for TCG? |

I recently received my issue.
The layout is very tight!
Mario as a central feature caught the attention of my even-more-casual-than-myself gamer friends, so I took it upon myself to introduce them to your back issues.
I also like the inclusion of the bookmark, Kinuko's illustration is perfect. |

Got issue seven the other day along with the other issues you had in print, I'm new to the whole thing.
My friends always make fun of me for my tendency to make over arching bold statements, stuff like, "Feel the Magic is the most important game in the last eight years," (a lie) or "Ico can piss off, that game sucked" (also a lie). So:
Although yes, I found some typos and grammatical errors and the magazine isn't slick like an issue of Edge, The Gamer's Quarter is the single best thing to happen to the entire video game industry since forever. To say I am impressed is an understatement.
An independent, zine-like look at video games from people who are passionate and intelligent about the given subject matter, although with just enough distance from it to be critical.
Good work, seriously. _________________ ........ |

Thank you! I'm sure the whole crew feels the same way. And yes, while we may not be the most professional thing in the world I think it suits what we want to accomplish with things. _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”

Issue 8 should hopefully be dropping in the very near future, if everything works out. _________________ Mr. Mechanical |

What can I say? new issue - more surprises, more fun! I've been a big fan of the magazine ever since the beginning, and I find it goes deeper and deeper - better editing, diverse range of articles, etc. For the magazine lovers, I recently (spam link)read this(spam link) and found it an extremely joyful read. A must for any gamer out there. |
