Parties interested in writing reviews for (arguably) the No. 1 Indie Game Site on the net, Independent Gaming, do send a PM or contact me by email.
Thanks. |

is there a reason as to why it's pretty hard to get writers for indie games? |

Less schwag? Less "inside connection" with the industry?
I'm fairly sure you could expand the general theory of game "journalism" as being parasitic psuedo-advertisting to account for why nobody wants to write about indie games (despite the fact that this should be, in theory, where all the wacky shit goes down).
Talk to me in a month! I'm gettin' married tomorrow. |

Because no one wants to play them? Not to knock on indie games and stuff, but I think you know what I mean. It's not nearly as glamorous as mainstream games. Though if you're writing about videogames for glamor, well...
I'm actually pretty interested in doing this. How demanding on my schedule would it be? _________________ where were you when nana komatsu got a wii? |

The big thing keeping me from it is the finding of the indie games to write about. There's a big difference (in terms of time invested especially) between finding out about indie games for these portals, rather than from them. If I felt I could do the job without either spending multiple hours daily searching for this stuff, or just ripping off tigsource/2bears/gamesetwatch, I'd love to. |

Yeah, that's exactly it. I'm pretty into indie stuff, and I sometimes happen upon something interesting that tigs or indygamer hasn't posted about (yet) - but that's a far cry, mostly time-wise, from actively seeking out new games (not to mention filtering the unplayable, the generic, etc.) |

ˇClaro que si! Uh, I mean oui.
I am actually an anglophone, but seven years at a French primary school has doubtless addled my brainmeats a little. |
