Thanks for the congratulations on the baby guys.
Hmm, there may just be a Special Retro Core DVD set from Volumes 11 to 32 (1 to 10 never made it to DVD format). I'm also going to upload a excel file that will tell you every game that's been featured on Retro Core plus what format and what volume of the show it was featured on.

I will pour one out for you and all your hard work! When your baby gets a little older, you'll have to film a special SD Chibi version of Retro Core. |

Yeah, "congraturation" on the baby! Teach him well in the ways of gaming
Again, I want to stress how much I've loved this show throughout the few years it's been "on." It introduced me to Elevator Action Returns, which is now my favorite game ever.
I love that the whole format is solely gameplay with commentary, my ideal video game show experience. You see the games as they are, warts and all. That's why I prefer video walkthroughs like we've gotten with Bioshock and Assassin's Creed, rather than a pre-rendered commercial. The good thing about Retro Core is that you don't have to worry that the videos might be "target renders."
This was a truly great show and I'll miss it.
Thank you, Retro Core!!! |

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Hmm, a Chibi Retro Core Special? Sound like a good idea but I'm sure the missus would never agree to it as always.

If you ever get around to this I would be very interested in seeing it! _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”

New price guide for the Retro Core DVDs plus a new Full DVD set.
Retro Core DVDs come with full colour high quality printed CDs and covers. Instant access to each game via the DVD menu screen as well as far superior picture and sound quality over the download versions.
Price Guide (Postage via standard airmail included)
1 Volume - 9 pounds
6 Volumes - 40 pounds
25 volumes (Full set - volumes 11 to 32 plus all specials) - 100 pounds
Unfortunately Retro Core Volumes 1 to 10 are not available on DVD due to the original digital tapes being damaged. The only available versions are the download show.

Good to know! What with my family emergency this month and everything, I completely forgot to download the last episode! It has so much I want to see, so I'm going to watch it as soon as I can. |
