I started a BLOG (livejournal) where I talk about games and stuff.

http://rezcycle.livejournal.com/

Please note the donate button.

It's sad to see this forum slow down to an almost complete stop Sad I really liked it here. The best games forum I've ever been a member of. I guess we had a pretty good run, plus we're not quite dead yet...

Various places around have reported that an early build of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has been released. I can't really be bothered to start a download right now so I'll let one of you lot do that so I can steal your opinions.

cycle, since i cannot comment on your blog (livejournal only? boo hoo):

get the fallouts if you don't have them already. (can't speak for tactics, though)

i remember rise of the triad being a lot more fun than duke3d, but those days are a bit hazy.

jagged alliance is spoken very highly of. haven't tried it myself yet. arx fatalis is kind of interesting, but very, very clunky.

stonekeep is ok. not great. an interesting artifact.

A good way to start is with intensive research.

I recommend using the incredibly flexible Klik & Play Engine for the quickest turnaround time. Expert Klik & Play programmers are rare and tend to charge a premium, but they're worth every penny.

As far as location goes, I'd recommend buying an old schoolhouse in rural South Dakota. You'll get a lot of space for insanely cheap.

Holy sweet crap; I just read the feature article on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories in this month's Nintendo Power, and I'm aflutter with anticipation. This sounds genuinely exciting; I really hope this turns out well.

GOBLIIINS 4 COMES OUT ON MONNNDAYYYY

Guys guys can you wait? I can't wait! I'm half-tempted to find a torrent of the Russian version which has apparently been out since March, that's how much I can't wait.

I hope it's downloadable; I'd hate to have to wait for a CD to ship from Russia or maybe England or wherever.
