It's virtually perfect for running things from the 0S 7-8 era. It doesn't run PPC stuff, however, and you're better off using uh... vMac for ancient black and white games, since they'll either crash or run too fast in basilisk (though some also work perfectly so it's worth trying).

When anyone asks about running basilisk, I always direct them to the followijng guide. It's very easy to follow and the emu is already setup and ready to go for gaming:

So there actually are a couple of recent MAC EXCLUSIVE games I wouldn't mind playing. You mac users out there should check the demos out and let me know if they're any good!

Return to Dark Castle
Neon Tango (Freeverse also have a few other interesting Mac only games, so have a look around the site).
io
Chopper
A few of the newer Ambrosia games such as El Ballo, Sketchfighter 4000 Alpha, Goo Ball, etc[/url]
The newer Pangea games.

HEY CYCLE!

I just got a Macbook for school, will it run these games? Also, which ones should I put on the top of my list to explore?

I think he meant from your list of "recent Mac games" which, if they are recent, should work on OS X?

Oh, Neon Tango and RTDC are the only real ones I'm interested in. The others are... probably not very good, but the first two look pretty great! I have especially high hopes for RTDC. I was a huge fan of the original games. A windows version is supposed to be in the works...

They should all work in MAC OS X.
