Are Atari dicks or are the reviewers snotty punks or do they both just deserve each other?

I read over the 4players article, the one responding to Atari's statements, and...

He's a little snotty, yeah, but I think that might mostly be from having his group's integrity be questioned by Atari's bullshit tactics.

PS: other reviewers are backing 4players up. Gamer.no reviewed a retail copy, purchased in-store, and Atari threatened them, again claiming it was probably a pirate copy.

This makes me very upset as the inventory system and item interactivity had me really excited, but I guess poop is poop.

Sound's like someone's getting over defensive. I think that a lot of times companies think they deserve stuff they don't, but just because they have something to hand in want it.

On the other side, I'm sure that they would like to defend against a review based on an incomplete version.

Either way, no matter what happens, Atari got more publicity from this than any kind of marketing scheme. It could always be a ploy.
