Right. I thought this was the theme to Popeye and Son, but Youtube says otherwise. I distinctly remember a cartoon having these lyrics, but which one? I remember it being sort of a homage to The Beach Boys' Surfin' USA.

Quote:
"bla bla bla bla bla bla
bla bla bla bla bla with the boys!
Bop bop, bop bop sha-wooey!
Bla bla bla bla bla bla
We'll be makin' some noise!
Bop bop, bop bop sha-wooey!
it's a rad, rad, rad, rad, rad, rad feeling alright.
Bop bop, bop bop sha-wooey!
it's a rad, rad, rad, rad, rad, rad feeling alright.
Bop bop, bop bop sha-wooey!"

One of you must know!

Look it can't be that difficult, how many songs have the line 'it's a rad, rad, rad, rad, rad, rad feeling alright' ? Not many I'd wager!

you know james harvey, when i search for these lyrics, all i really find is this thread.

this song is apparently more underground than the mohorovicic discontinuity.

maybe your quote is slightly off?

I remember surfing in the opening credits. And a kid with tall hair.

If you know the melody of the song fairly well, this site might help you figure out the title.

Animated. Although, I just realised I'm thinking of Popeye & Son again with the kid with the tall hair. Maybe there were two theme tunes to Popeye & Son?

Popeye and Son - A New Generation, circa 1987. It was the ending song, not the theme song.
