No, I really think that's why that scene was in there. Also when she says 'despite your violent behaviour all you have managed to break is my heart', I thought that was quite moving. I think it is meant to be moving.

I find it amusing the way you get a tick when you complete one of the extra sections which just reinforces the hamster / extended training exercise-ness of the it.
